Arizona educators honored by Flinn Scholars

Summary:

The newest Flinn Scholars and the Flinn Scholars Program have honored 20 Arizona educators for their outstanding dedication and service. Each educator was nominated by a member of the 2008 class of Flinn Scholars for having a significant impact on their education and development. While most students honored teachers from their high schools, four recognized middle- or elementary-school teachers, including one going back as far as first grade.

The newest Flinn Scholars and the Flinn Scholars Program have honored 20 Arizona educators for their outstanding dedication and service. Each educator was nominated by a member of the 2008 class of Flinn Scholars for having a significant impact on their education and development. While most students honored teachers from their high schools, four recognized middle- or elementary-school teachers, including one going back as far as first grade. 

The educators received plaques commemorating the occasion at the Flinn Scholars recognition dinner on May 17 at the Ritz-Carlton in Phoenix.
